Kea farmers market
Due to the cool weather in Cameron Highlands, shopping at aFree areaA market like this can be fun (even if it's mostly vegetables!) as you can take your time wandering around the different stalls.
However, the Kea Farm Market has changed a lot in recent years. There used to be stalls on both sides of the street. See photo below.

Today the hill has been completely flattened on one side to make way for a metered car park (costs RM7 per vehicle per entrance).

And as you drive further in, you come to a rose garden and a large, brand new car park forCH Florapark.
Opening hours of the Kea Farmers Market
Although the market isOpen every day, it is busier on weekends and public holidays.
Traffic in this area can be very congested. And we find it busy even in the middle of the week.

Therefore, finding a parking space for your car at Kea Farm Market is not an easy task. Even with two new paid parking spaces.
The following photo shows the traffic situation on a busy day at Kea Farm Market before all the recent developments:

From time to time, even a police officer will help direct the traffic!
Looking at Kea Farm Market now, it is still a busy place full of tourists. And although the road has been greatly widened, many cars compete for available parking spaces.
So you need to plan your itinerary well before heading to Cameron Highlands to avoid getting stuck in the Kea Farm Market traffic jam.
You won't want to pass this place more than once if you can avoid it.
